Over a year has passed since the Supreme Court’s landmark decision in Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) v. Harvard, which barred the consideration of race in undergraduate admissions. As institutions begin disaggregating data by race and ethnicity, we are starting to see how recent cohorts are shaping up and to assess the impact of the Court’s ruling on campus diversity.
In this webinar, we will explore the ongoing relevance of diversity in higher education and how institutions are adapting their admissions processes in the absence of affirmative action. The webinar will kick off with a presentation from the American Council on Education (ACE), which will offer an overview of the educational pathways of U.S. students by race and ethnicity, based on data from ACE’s latest Race and Ethnicity in Higher Education report and other relevant sources.
This will set the stage for a deeper conversation with experts and peers on the impact of the SFFA v. Harvard ruling. The discussion will highlight the innovative strategies and initiatives that institutions are implementing to adapt to these changes.
