Description

Objective:

The course objective is to prepare the student to coordinate community and voluntary disaster resources before, during and after a disaster. Working with voluntary organizations is essential to a community’s response to and recovery from a disaster. While local, state, tribal, territorial, and Federal governments provide critical and necessary assistance, the resources of voluntary organizations—including private and nonprofit resources—make up an important part of the recovery process.
