Description

Objective:

The course objectives are to familiarize Tec 40 instructor candidates with the PADI Tec Diver program structure, philosophy, requirements, and procedures; prepare Tec 40 instructor candidates to teach performance-based, safety-oriented, and learner-centered PADI Tec Diver courses; refine Tec 40 Instructor candidates’ applicable diver-level tec diving skills to a role-model level; coach the Tec 40 Instructor candidate to develop role-model tec diving skills and master supervision of tec diving students; provide Tec 40 Instructor candidates with practical suggestions for organizing, conducting, controlling and marketing PADI Tec Diver courses.

Perform the dive skills in the Tec 40 Instructor Skill Evaluation.
Assist with a complete Tec 40 or Tec Trimix 40 Diver course or act as a certified assistant during a simulated course.
