Description

Objective:

To make the student familiar with the complete accounting cycle as used for a service business, industry, or governmental agency.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Analyze a group of business transactions, and record them on data input forms with 70% accuracy
  • Make the correct journal entry with a minimum 70% accuracy
  • Complete the requirements of a mini practice set with a minimum 70% accuracy
  • Identify the effect of the transaction on the elements of the accounting equation with a minimum 70% accuracy
  • Prepare an Income Statement, Capital Statement, and a Balance Sheet with a minimum 70% accuracy
  • Determine whether each is increased or decreased by a debit or credit entry and the normal balance for each account with a minimum 70% accuracy
