Description

Objective:

The course objective is to explore the study of crime patterns, behaviors, and institutional practices in addressing crime. This course examines the nature of crime in relation to the social, economic, and political processes in exploring the behaviors of individuals processed through the criminal justice system. Students will learn about the structural, social, psychological, and environmental approaches that are frequently used to explain criminal behavior.
