Description

Objective:

To provide the student with managerial accounting skills that are useful in all areas of accounting and business analysis to provide business management recommendations.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Demonstrate managerial accounting skills that are useful in control and decision-making
  • Use the tools of managerial accounting, such as, responsibility accounting, cost-profit-volume analysis, differential analysis, and budgeting in a variety of settings
  • Understand manufacturing environments and be knowledgeable of the various product costing methods (job cost, process cost, and standard cost)
