To teach the student how to select, set up, and utilize an automated accounting package. Moreover, the course teaches the student to compare and contrast different automated accounting systems and to answer the basic question of why a business should select an automated accounting package in the first place. Additionally, the course seeks to make the student familiar with the Peachtree Complete Accounting for Windows, Release 6.0 or higher program so that the student can utilize the program in an employment setting.
