Alternative Pathways and Providers

About

Alternative providers are an emerging and evolving group of organizations that have the potential to expand the capacity of the nation’s learning ecosystem. They aim to provide all learners with access to quality, affordable postsecondary education—especially those 71 million Americans in the working-age population who are without a postsecondary credential, many of whom are from underserved groups such as communities of color, low-income working adults, and first-generation students.
