Campus leaders meeting the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic must have an eye on near-term academic and business realities and the safety and well-being of their students and staff, as well as long-term mission goals, values, and strategies for institutional resilience.
ACE and Huron have teamed up to produce a series of video interviews featuring college and university presidents sharing their expertise and views on topics such as equity and inclusion, academic program adaption, strategic finance, and crisis communication. The series is a peer-to-peer learning resource for busy campus leaders, with each video consisting of a 10-15 minute conversation with either Louis Soares, ACE's chief learning and innovation officer, or Huron Managing Director Peter Stokes.
The first three videos can be viewed via the ACE website:
- Ana Mari Cauce, president, University of Washington, Part 1 of 2
- Marjorie Hass, president, Rhodes College (TN)
- Scott Ralls, president, Wake Technical Community College (NC), Part 1 of 2
Eight additional videos will be posted in the coming weeks. With COVID-19 creating a tumultuous environment in which leading, and learning must occur in near real time, this ACE-Huron collaboration aims to provide convenient access to leadership supports and tools to help busy college and university presidents accomplish those twin objectives.
