There is both a moral and an economic need among colleges and universities to eliminate equity gaps and create more inclusive organizations in order to move the needle forward for all. This workshop (four sessions of two hours each) acclimates mid- and senior-level college leaders to the evidence imperative in postsecondary education, especially related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and organizational viability. Attendees will become familiar with available data sources and tools, developing the capacity to glean insights quickly. The workshop will use findings from ACE’s
Race and Ethnicity in Higher Education, (REHE) project, case studies, and exercises focused on translating data into actions that will benefit students and institutions.
