The Proponent Sponsored Engineer Corps Training (PROSPECT) Program and US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Learning Center (ULC) was formed by USACE to provide high-quality technical training and learning experiences in a University Environment, mostly to USACE employees, and also DoD, Federal, State, and non-government individuals.Codified in Army and USACE regulations, the PROSPECT mission is to provide engineering and support training to develop and sustain technical competencies cultivating a competent, disciplined and resilient workforce that provides high quality solutions. The ULC's vision is to be recognized as USACE's Education Institution Center of Excellence in the development and delivery of training supporting the Corps mission for its over 37,000 employees.Each year ULC supports training development and delivery of over 200 courses to an average of over 7,000 employees from Communities of Practice (CoPs) such as engineering and construction (e.g., architecture, construction management including acquisition and contracts), geospatial, structural and other key areas throughout the Corps' CoPs.Organized under USACE Headquarters, Human Resource Development Division, ULC offers respective continuing education credits as an authorized/registered provider with the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET), American Institute of Architects (AIA), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), and Project Management Institute (PMI).
