ACT Inc. is one of the foremost providers of educational testing (including The ACT¨ standardized admissions test for college entrance), workforce development, and research services in the world. Its mission is to help people achieve education and workplace success. ACT Education Solutions, Ltd (AES) is a wholly owned subsidiary of ACT Inc. established in 2005, with regional offices in China, Singapore and Indonesia, and representative offices in Mexico, and South Korea. The Global Assessment Certificate (GAC) is a competency-based Foundation Studies/University Preparation program which is delivered at over 250 AES licensed teaching centers in 12 countries around the world. The GAC program's objective is to prepare international students for the academic rigors of studying undergraduate degrees in the USA and other countries to ensure they have successful learning outcomes in their undergraduate degrees.
