Organization

The Center for Financial Training (CFT) is an industry-supported adult education and training nonprofit organization that has been providing continuing education courses and professional development programs for members of the financial industry since 1901. CFT services all 50 states.

CFT courses are designed for multiple experience levels and area of responsibility, and offer students up-to-date, practical, industry-related information, and skills. The skills help employees work smarter and better, improving their on-the-job performance and productivity.

CFT courses are business and finance specific and may be applicable toward both an associate and baccalaureate degree at many colleges and universities in CFT's market area and beyond. CFT classes are conducted in multiple formats including live classroom style, online via the internet, and through an enhanced correspondence program called Guided Self Study. The CFT faculty is composed of bank officers, attorneys, certified public accountants, and other industry specialists who bring both expertise and experience to their students in both the traditional and nontraditional classroom.

CFT is headquartered in Farmington, CT, with regional offices in Massachusetts, New York, and Missouri.
