A free June 15 ACE webinar that examined whether improvements in instructional quality can increase a postsecondary institution’s net revenue is now archived and available for viewing.
The one-hour session focused on insights from an ACE-commissioned white paper, Instructional Quality, Student Outcomes, and Institutional Finances, and looked at how faculty development at one university has had a demonstrable impact at an institutional level.
Participants were:
- Steven Taylor, associate director of academic innovation at ACE;
- Martin Kurzweil, director of the Educational Transformation Program at Ithaka S+R and a paper co-author;
- Catherine Haras, senior director of the Center for Effective Teaching and Learning at California State University, Los Angeles, and;
- Joel Hartman, vice president for information technologies and resources at the University of Central Florida.
